About RagTees

RagTees has one main employee, which is me, Bulent. I also have my friend Peter help out with design ideas and other day to day operations. RagTees is a pretty small business, but I'm filled with dedication for this company. I keep the ordering process of the shirts simple and pain-in-the-neck free. I print shirts that I would want to wear. I ship the shirts to you in a way that I would like them shipped to me. I constantly look out for new ways to reach out to customers to connect with, so that I can help them get a funny shirt which they can use to spread laughter around the world. After all, laughter is the best medicine. A whole lot of people in the world today could use it in their lives. That's what RagTees is about, spreading the laughter, one funny shirt at a time. That's why I decided to gamble a bunch of my money to make some shirts.

I have huge visions for this company, but not too huge. I hate those big corporations that don't care about their customers and just want to make a quick buck. You know, the kind of companies with the horrible customer service reps that don't even know anything about the company they're working for? I don't want to be one of those. RagTees is about being a big small company, keeping our fun small business roots, and spreading the reach of RagTees shirts around the world.

How did RagTees start? It really started around October of 2008. Peter and I had ideas for shirts that we couldn’t find anywhere. So we decided, why not make our own shirts, and share them with the world? We came up with a bunch of ideas for shirts we could print. A lot of the shirt ideas we come up with are random thoughts that go through our heads. Like the Pedomobile shirt. A truck that any kid will run to without thinking twice? A foolproof tool for pedophiles! Over the next year, I spent my time carefully studying and learning about the t-shirt industry. I learned as much as I could about screenprinting, designing shirts, legalities of starting a company, marketing a brand, etc. In October of 2009, RagTees.com finally opened up shop and started selling the very first of our many many shirt ideas. I look forward to the next several years of running RagTees, meeting people and having fun along the way.

I should also let you know that I'm a HUGE Twitter addict. I'm on it all the time. There's a link to my Twitter on top of this page. So send me an @reply sometime. It can be about business, or my favorite TV cartoon! (It's Family Guy) Hit me up about anything! If you don't have Twitter, you can also email me at [email protected]

Namaste,
Bulent
